Thandi Sibisi

Ithandile Samukelisiwe Thandiwe Sibisi

was born in a small town called Weneen

on the valleys of Tugela Ferry in KwaZulu Natal.

She is a daughter of native farmers and is the last born of seven children. Thandi lived with her parents until the age of ten. She then went off to live with her oldest sibling. Thandi was first discovered by a Cape Townian photographer when she was twelve years old. This is the person who helped launch her modeling career.

When Thandi was 17 years old she was crowned the youngest Miss KZN. She then went off to represent her province in the Miss Africa 2004. Thandi matriculated in Estcourt High School and is still pursuing her Business and Fashion degrees.

When Thandi was 18 years old she moved to Johannesburg, leaving her whole family behind in pursuit of her dreams.

Thandi is today 21 years old. She is a fashion designer/stylist, an entrepreneur and the first South African Digital personality. Thandi feels she only just began her journey to success as she has many projects planned out for the near future.

This girl is rising above her circumstances and will no doubt touch the sky.
